6/22/15 - I slept well last night and headed out this morning back uphill to the ATC to register. I am thruhiker #775 this year. I ran into Right Click, Rock Steady, Patadox, Dr. Pickles and Mockingbird, Finn, Tick, Pocahontas, Kiki, Dora, Blackout, Young Gun, Spider, and a whole bunch of others I thought were ahead of me. I found my picture from 2007 (#466), and had fun looking at all my friends from that trip. Then I went go the outfitter, where the owner, Chore Boy, recognized me! Dr. Pickles, Mockingbird, Finn and I caught the bus to WalMart for resupply so I am now about ready to head into Maryland on Wednesday. I'll mail stuff off tomorrow.
6/23/15 - Last zero in Harpers Ferry
I mailed my bounce box forward to Duncannon, PA, then got lunch and took a needed nap. Then I sprayed my new shoes with permethrin and found my gaiters have broken straps. I'll try to rig something as its too late to go to WalMart. Right now it's pouring rain outside, good thing I didn't hike out today.
